Vladislav Krzyžánek was elected President of the European Microscopy Society (EMS)

Dr. Vladislav Krzyžánek, Head of the Microscopy for Biomedicine Group at the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS and President of the Czechoslovak Microscopy Society, became the first representative from Central Europe to be elected to this prestigious position. Congratulations!

This historic moment is a significant milestone not only for Vladislav Krzyžánek, but also for the entire central European scientific community. He was appointed to the position by the European Microscopy Society during the European Microscopy Congress EMC 2024  in Copenhagen (Denmark, 25 August - 30 August 2024), which is held every four years.
