New publication in Nano Letters

The precise and reliable manipulation of single or multiple nanostructures has important consequences for contemporary nanoscience. In this work, we use counter-propagating Gaussian and Laguerre-Gaussian beams with three different types of polarizations.  We observe a rich spectrum of localization, orientation, and rotation possibilities for individual and optically bound silicon nanowires.
