The Advanced Course on Preclinical Imaging

We are pleased to invite you to the Advanced Course on Preclinical Imaging, taking place from 16th to 20th September 2024 in Prague and Brno.

This course is jointly organized by bioimaging facilities from the Institute of Experimental Medicine, the Institute of Physiology, and the Institute of Scientific Instruments. It is designed for researchers with a serious interest in integrating in vivo imaging into their projects.

The course aims to teach preclinical imaging techniques, including:

In vivo two-photon microscopy
In vivo multi-photon-based label-free techniques (SHG, THG, CARS)
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Additionally, the bioimaging sessions will be supplemented by training in cranial window surgery.

Online participation
It is also possible to join the course online, but only for specific parts. The sections available online include the theoretical part on Monday and the data analysis parts.
