Raman spectroscopy for characterization of metabolites secreted from bacteria

The project aims to develop an integrated biochip including microfluidic platform and SERS substrate, as well as a comprehensive experimental protocol for high-demand clinical applications. The primary objective is to identify bacteria and analyze metabolites secreted by bacterial cells in response to external stimuli. These metabolite concentrations are below Raman spectroscopy's detection limit.
