Lecture "Mesoscopic scattering meets wave control"
On 17.7. 2017 Prof. Dr. Stefan Rotter, Institute for Theoretical Physics Vienna, University of Technology, visited our institute.
Dr. Stefan Rotter graduated the theoretical physics in Vienna and Laussane. In Vienna he also continued his PhD studies in the mesocopic electron transport theme. Later on he worked at the Yale University, where he studied correlated electrons and laser technologies. Coming back to Vienna he continued with the study of unsettled and complex scattering, waveforms and quantum optics. He has been a professor at the Technological University of Vienna, since 2013.
For our institute he gave a lecture: “Mesoscopic scattering meets wave control” that was visited 18 scientists. Afterwards a very interesting discussion with our scientists followed.
