Calculation of optical forces in Bessel beam
For the purposes of fast estimation of the optical forces acting on the microobject placed in Bessel beam we develop an algorithm based on the Lorenz-Mie scattering theory. We considered a vectorial form of the Bessel beam created behind the axicon but we assumed that the created beam has a form of ideal Bessel beam. Using this assumption we get analytical forms for single Bessel beam. This beam is composed of plane waves with wavevectors covering the surface of a cone. Therefore calculation of the optical forces using the Barton's method is straightforward and relatively fast to compute.
The calculations can be easily extended to co-propagating or counter-propagating beams and we used it to predict orto verify the experimental object behaviour.
All the necessary details about the theory are summarized in the following papers
