The research group deals with the following topics: Laser interferometry, measurement methods, data processing, novel optical configurations, complete assembly design, commercial length metrology measurements, fibre optic technologies, fibre optic welding and shaping, design and manufacture of optical fibre assemblies including special types of optical fibres (PM, PCF), optical fibre sensors, principles and designs of the ionizing radiation measurements methods, thin films, design and implementation of complex instruments in the field of interferometry, length metrology and optical fibre technology and sensors.
